I think it is important to consider the push and pull factors of coming illegaly to the United States of America when it comes to identifying the stereotype of the people willing to do so. First, in the pull factors, the US is the place people come to to start a new life. It's supposedly where one can have a better life. There are many push factors, however. For one, the people illegaly immigrating are taken advantage of by dodgy people who agree to guide them. These people might try to take all the money they have to guide someone, and then they might not guide them across the border at all. Then, if these people do get transportation, there's the danger of what can happen to you by criminals and the chance of getting caught, even once you're in the US.
Considering this, I think the stereotype of migrants coming in illegaly would be poor people with not much to lose and getting desperate to make it in the world. The stereotype would be foreign, maybe not understanding English due to poor education, which often happens to people with not much money. The clothes would be at least ragged from the trip, and the people might look hungry. Of course, a stereotype isn't really comepletly true at the least.
