In both Anglo and Latin America, colonization made a huge difference. In both continents horses were introduced, and that meant the start of better transportation. In both continents, new diseases were introduced, killing off the Native Americans. In both continents, so much food that needed agriculture so much that it eventually lead to deforestation was introduced. In both continents, money, goats, religion, and etc were introduced.
However, when the colonists came from different countries, the impact on the two continents were different, and different things happened because of it. In Anglo America, the land was settled by England and France. They tried to educate and improve the Native Americans, different religions were introduced, and when the colony won their revolution, they formed a representative government to not let all the power go to a few people. In Latin America, colonists tried to take everything the land and Natives had to offer after conquesting the land. The religion introduced was mainly Catholic. When Latin America finally had its revolution, they had a new dictator lead the government.

Essential Questions Answer 1: Immigrant Stereotypes
I think it is important to consider the push and pull factors of coming illegaly to the United States of America when it comes to identifying the stereotype of the people willing to do so. First, in the pull factors, the US is the place people come to to start a new life. It's supposedly where one can have a better life. There are many push factors, however. For one, the people illegaly immigrating are taken advantage of by dodgy people who agree to guide them. These people might try to take all the money they have to guide someone, and then they might not guide them across the border at all. Then, if these people do get transportation, there's the danger of what can happen to you by criminals and the chance of getting caught, even once you're in the US.
Considering this, I think the stereotype of migrants coming in illegaly would be poor people with not much to lose and getting desperate to make it in the world. The stereotype would be foreign, maybe not understanding English due to poor education, which often happens to people with not much money. The clothes would be at least ragged from the trip, and the people might look hungry. Of course, a stereotype isn't really comepletly true at the least.
